NDP know BKM was mistreated & so I think we will get permit

NDP know BKM was mistreated & so I think we will get permitBy posting the July 19 BKM letter to the EAO, the gov exposed the truth for everyone to see. IMO they would never had done this if the thought was to deny the permit and screw BKM over again. The government became very vulnerable by doing this.

In the document (see link below) you can see the email from Chris Hamilton on April 30th 2015 that basically states he is committing a wrong doing, that IMO will not please the Judge if we ever end up in court. I wonder if this action is criminal in nature?  "
we will want to avoid anything that may look like a recommendation from EAO".

There are a lot of eyebrow raising moments in the emails such as admitting there is a "privileged folder" Not only is this wrong, IMO it demonstrates gross incompetency.

I agree with Believe3 regarding his post about taking away SAIR.

ask yourself this if gov't wanted no approve this bc of FN, why take away section 17 order, as they could have left us SAIR purgatory indefinately !

All this said, I think we will be rewarded with a permit. The NDP know we will end up in court if we don't receive it, and they even posted some of the evidence that can be used in court against them.

Subject: Morrison materials

Hi Kevin As requested following up from our Morrison meeting yesterday, here was the draft section 17 order and Ministers' decision letter they were prepared to consider last July/August. Note that we developed these materials at the Ministers' suggestion and not as any kind of recommendation. We should probably also not update these materials in anticipation of what Ministers may wish to see. I know that seems counterintuitive to our normal role, but as Paul mentioned yesterday, we will want to avoid anything that may look like a recommendation from EAO, as we currently have no legislative authority to make any recommendations. After briefing Ministers on the most recent round of comments received, we can quickly and easily update these letters and the s.17 if Ministers want us to put some options in front of them.

April 29, 2015 at 12:47 PM From: Kennedy, Iesha EAO:EX To Chris Hamilton (and ??) Thank you. I still don't have access to the Morrison Privileged folder and the s.17 isn't in the normal project folder. I will forward Jen the attachment from the email. Both Karla and I have sent requests to EAO Support (as well as Lori back in Oct) requesting I be given access to Morrison. Still waiting to hear Thanks, Iesha

April 29, 2015 at 1:15 PM From: Kennedy, Iesha EAO:EX To: Hamilton, Chris EAO:EX Subject: RE: Draft morrison s17 Now we had a look in the Privileged folder and there was another draft from Aug 2014 and then one from Feb 2015 that looks like it has a bunch of tracked changes that you made to it. Is it still the July 2014 you would like sent? Thank you
