Well today should be the day, Prince George meetings over today, IMO nothing today , than nothing until the 31st January. You would think if they are going to give permit it should be today at Prince George, Cheers BKM

My guess on announcement date:
Thursday, Jan 20th - 50%
Friday, Jan 21st - 10%

Thursday, Jan 27th - 30%
Friday, Jan 28th - 10%

Notes of interest:
Political announcements that invoke negative reactions are typically made on a Friday so they get less attention over the weekend (especially long weekends). Good news events are usually announced Monday thru Thursday - just rule of thumb.
Secondly, where are 5 ministers of the crown (including the environment and mines ministers) scheduled to speak on Thursday, January 20th??  Any amateur sleuths out there interested in doing a little detective work?

I think your assessment is sound.  However, the news is or would be controversial either way.  "Good" or "bad" may depend on which side of the political spectrum interested parties lie.  Hopefully, Gov of BC has been proactive in laying groundwork for a positive decision on the Certificate.
