"La Quinta is totally focused on Nevada. [Its Eastern property] has a significant exploration history. La Quinta recently announced an NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate, which outlined about 101,000 ounces of gold in the indicated category. That is very good, in our opinion. . .What we really like about La Quinta is it acquired this high-potential property at very compelling terms and has been putting together an exploration plan that, I believe, can expand the resource base significantly. Obviously, that would be very good for shareholders. . .[CEO] Glen Watson. . .decided to take hold of the company and refocus it, and we believe he has done a very good job. . .They have a good team on the technical and business/financial side. I think that bodes very well for the company. . .This is a good example of investors being able to get exposure to gold at a low entry point and how some junior gold explorers can provide strong potential for growth."
