RE:RE:where are Erin's Chinese buyers?
zoomcyj,
Your statement is a little confusing in certain areas.
We need something from the Serbian gov't that says "this is your property".
We have the Piskanja and Jarandol properties for which we have exploration licenses. The Serbian gov't has already said that "this is your property"... to explore.
We have the information, we have drill results, we know the potential of the property but nothing that says that it is ours to exploit.
The property that I presume you are referring to is Piskanja. As I have stated above, we have an exploration license for this property but not an exploitation license. I expect that an exploitation license is still a year or more away.
As far as I understand, the properties could be awarded to anyone.
Which properties are you referring to? The various properties currently under the JP PEU Resavica umbrella? If so, that is correct. Piskanja and Jarandol already "belong" to Erin Ventures.
Of course, we only care about getting the Pobrdje mine because it has an exploitation license attached to it and, with it, Erin Ventures could have cash flow in 6-8 months in addition to conventional financing to fund the upgrade of the Pobrdje boron mine, the Feasibility Study on Piskanja and further drilling on Jarandol.
The news articles mentioning Erin Ventures or Balkan Gold are all referring to the Piskanja property which Mining Minister Antic has already said he's like to form a partnership on.
Balkan Gold and Erin Ventures are not mentioned with respect to Pobrdje other than the interested parties who put in a bid back when Resavica was put on the auction block.
I just wanted to clarify your statement. I hope you don't mind.
