(1) People are still here because they have already lost most of their investmemt here. Down by 75 to 90%, not too many reasons to not let this thing ride into oblivion or, you never know, maybe this multi-billion $ property will let them have their capital back because the property is still there, regardless of what management does or does not do.
(2) People are in a foul mood because of all the missed deadline. The lastest one is a doozy - Missed a 3-month deadline by 2 YEARS ! How can you do that ?
As for Lanny, He's got a lot of stupid time on his hands. He's been repeating the same things over and over for a few years now, You got to question his motive. Look, he's got more than 2,000 posts, that's a heck of a lot of time wasted. You've got to question why someone would post multiple times every day. EVen worst when they never say anything worthwhile....
