6 months after news of PFS start Tim gave us that Metalurgy news release the day before the 6 month anniversary of the PFS news back in January. Yesterday was when we could expect the PFS document so maybe his way of saying we are very close now, sorry it's not done.
Another week for the 2 month mark after the AGM that should be the time it takes for the Serbian Mining Ministry to OK out Elaborate. I mean plus the other 6 months or whatever.
So let's they they get both Certificate of Reserves and PFS doc in hand next week (will never happen, too much goodness at one time), they have to package up those with the other stuff and present to Ministry again. The deadline was mid September but then Tim says no deadline?? I feel more inclined to believe there is a deadline but maybe not??
Anyway, if you like drama, it sure is coming to a head. Do the Serbs like us or are we being thrown out like RIo. Tinto after years of hard work and millions spent?? Are we going to flail along to the last second or beyond like Erin usually does? Is the Ministry going to flail along beyond deadlines like they always do?? Do we go to 0 or $1?? Does Osmose jump in? Did Tim really have other interested parties or just years of BS used for propping things up sake?? Stay tuned tomorrow for the continuing saga of "How to F-up the un-F-able!".
while we wait, here are the other reports and odds & ends that need to be submitted with step 2 docs courtesy of VB a while back. Hopefully this stuff is in place and ready to go for quick submission.
The second step is the exploitation field approval. The exploitation field is an area surrounding the deposit which encloses the planned infrastructure at the surface and the extents of the mining operations underground. To obtain the exploitation field approval, Erin must submit the following:
- A 1:2500 scale map outlining the deposit, infrastructure and communications, cadastral data, etc.;
- Certificate on resources and reserves from the beginning;
- Feasibility study for the Project with a detailed economic assessment of the Proiect which
needs to be prepared by a licenced institution and
subiected to technical review;
- Proof of compliance with urban planning and compliance with municipality spatial plan;
- Scope of work for an Environmental Impact
- Assessment study issued by the Ministry of
- Environment;
- Proof of compliance with cultural heritage legislation;
and
• Proof of compliance with water management conditions.
Upon the receipt of request, the Ministry of Mining and Energy issues the approval for the exploitation field, the expected time is two munts from the request submission.
