RE: RIMAnyone who has used a cell phone has found out what a total pain batteries are. It is the weak link in the technology.
New phones and pagers use less and less power and so can powered by AA OR even AAA batteries.
If I had a reliable power source I would use my
( hand held devices phone, pager, lap top, pocket nintendo, palm pilot, sony walkman, discman)much more often.
Greater useage leads to increased fees for the sellers of the products. Forget the profit on the batteries, they could give them away for free and guarantee them for life and they would own the world.
