RE: proprietary xB3 BBB drug delivery tech

RE: proprietary xB3 BBB drug delivery techxB3 is a rebranding of Transcend. From now on, instead of Transcend and the Trascend Platform, you'll be seeing xB3, or more correctly, xB3.

The name is easily parsed, with the "x" meaning "cross" or "crossing," as in railway crossing, or as an abbreviation in uses like x-country, meaning cross country. Also, as an abreviation, it is used to mean "transfer" or "transmit."

The "B3," with or without the superscripted "3," is obviously "BBB," standing for the blood-brain barrier.

Also, xB3 is a more unique and memorable name for the peptide. Rob Hutchison has ensured that the peptide is not only an extremely unique and capable technical and neurotherapeutic advancement, but that for the protection of the shareholders' interests, its IP protection is robust in the extreme, and if there is one thing that will make us money, it is our complete and unassailable ownnership of this important technology.

The xB3 metaphors and analogies can be further expanded to include military connotations, such as fighter jet and bomber name-analogies where the concepts of payload delivery, avoiding defences and other military terms can be sensed. (As in, this Pinot has overtones of raspberries, and licorice, things that some of us sense and others don't.)

The name has brand-protected, although I don't have the details of that. In-house drugs will likely carry names of the form, xB3-ABC, as in xB3-TZM, xB3-I2S, and such, replacing the older BT and MTfp prefixes.

Mark Day gave me permission to discuss this today, and to inform you that it was I who came up with the name, explained the metaphors, made the case for it. I thought of it a couple of years ago and pitched it to Mark a few weeks ago. I have agreed to sign the name over to biOasis and that will be done shortly. I expect to receive a small recompense for it. Negotiations start soon with my opening demand for a large Timmies, black, and a six-pack of Old-Fashion Sugared TimBits, although, and don't tell Mark, my fallback negotiation stance is only a pair of TimBits in a brown paper bag.

xB3. Rolls off the tongue rather nicely, if I say so myself.

If, one day, you see a Wall Steet Journal headline that reads, "New Hope for Cancer Sufferers as biOasis Announces That Its Cancer Drug, xB3-TZM, Shows Efficacy in The Treatment of Brain Tumors," remember me fondly.
