To suggest that we "could" have a 6-year wait has the unspoken requirement that we look back 6 years at frustration and dissatisfaction. Expect arguments over that requirement and the prediction. Moving on means dropping the 6 year wait stuff. You raised that, beenthere, nobody else, you did, with support from regardless. Don't go blaming other people for the resulting dialogue.

About disliking you, beenthere, let me borrow Percy Alleline's comments to Peter Guillam in John Le Carre's great novel, "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy."
