a fond farewell to craighenry, finallytherock, and beenthereDear craighenry, finallytherock, and beenthere:
A short story before the nurses and orederleys tuck you in for the night.
When I don't like a particular food (carrot cake), I don't eat it.
When I don't like a particular drink (whiskey), I don't drink it.
When I don't like certain people (any of you three), I don't have them as my friends.
When I don't like a certain brand of car (Fiat), I don't buy it.
When I have a stock that I bought thinking it was a good buy, and it later turns out, imo, that is not the case, then I sell it and move on to another stock. I don't hold on to it when I think there is no hope or reason to hold on or the future will be better.
Get the hint?
If you hate the company, think the technology isn't up to the test, are unhappy with past and current management, then why don't you take the logical and easy way out of your misery and sell your shares? Would your life not then be better if it was out of your portfolio and you weren't constantly reminded about it? Why are you still holding shares if you think this negatively about your investment?
Ponder that for a while and then ask "Who is the fool? who is pathetic? who is the joke?" The true answer will be revealed holding a mirror :)
(this is too easy ladies and gentlemen, I'll be back when the next study results are released)
