If I recall, I had a low rating because they had multiple inputs and I participated in only one or two them. The number of forums one posted on, I think, was an input. I wasn't too interested in the ratings nor was I interested in posting on other forums if I didn't have something unique to say. You post on 50, you brag, but you have very little offer on them, just some news that people could find if they paid closer attention or if they set up some Google Alerts.
The only rating that means anything to me is how many reads I get. Nothing means nothing if you can't write well enough to attract readers. Explaining the story gets more reads than copy/pasting because it's more valuable to the reader.
So, you've been measuring yourself against me for all these years? I guess I've known that but in the end, it's what you write, the opinions you offer that matter.
