Share prices do occasionally move up or down for no apparent reasons, but investment decisions always require an assessment of conditions. If good things happen then share prices will likely go up. If nothing happens then a share price will likely go down. If bad things happen then the share price will likely go down.
If you want certainty, buy a bag of chips and snarf them, because that's about as sure as anything can get.
So, what part of "if this then that" don't you get? Do you really not recognize that important consideration? Do you blindly follow stock forums without due diligence and careful consideration?
