IR Representation & Dependence I'm going to make some statements that will stand up. They are documented beyond any shadow of a doubt.
Bioasis very much approved of my public writing about the company even though I kept myself independent of their direct influence. All three CEOs approved it and encouraged it.
I was invited to roadshows and AGMs. I was never invited to them to write anything. To my recollection, I never wrote a thing on my trips to roadshows, AGMs, or other events.
DrDR invited me to the first roadshows and I spoke at them. She knew that shareholders valued the information I provided them and the opinions I expressed.
At the various events I greeted attendees. Shook hands. Kibbutzed. Quaffed a few. Got a great drink recipe from John Hemeon before he was a director. Had a swell time. Dinners out with management and select shareholders, on the company's tab. Discussed science with Mei Mei, stuff that I had discovered that she had not yet discovered, like standard-of-care systemic dosing strategies in light of the huge dose that xB3 can deliver to the brain. Never answered, never discussed. But I at least figured out the question out, and some possible answers.
And Bioasis IR, when asked a question they couldn't answer, told shareholders to call JD. They can't claim anything else. There are too many shareholders who were told, "Call JD on that. He's your guy."
I knew what was going on, that they depended on me. But that's what made me strive to be even more independent. I was always glad when I found something to publicly complain about. Pumpers aren't credible. Part of my credibility came from my criticisms of Bioasis.
But a funny thing about credibility is the implicit truthfulness of credible people, and that is what gave me traction and trust with shareholders. It also gave me value to Bioasis and Bioasis ran with that trust.
But I am also combative and when some trolls didn't like the force with which I defended Bioasis and challenged them, some of them and others complained to DrDR. They said I shouldn't be posting on Stockhouse.
And DrDR swallowed it, apparently. She suggested I take a break, but she didn't cancel my contract so I figured the battle was engaged and she supported it. It seemed obvious enough to me. ("If you do that 3000 more times, jd, I'll whack your whatever.")
Until DrDR, the CEOs always stayed out of it, and even she only suggested a break. And I never talked with them about their dependence on me. I let you, the reader, figure out why. Suffice to say that I was an independent commentator and wanted it to stay that way.
So if Bioasis and IR want to make a case about not wanting me around, good luck to them.
