The acquired calls it a merger and the buyer calls it an acquisition.

Merger is the worst kind of spin. It is so insulting of shareholder intelligence.

I call it the picking up of billions of dollars off the sidewalk, dropped there by Bioasis who weren't even aware they'd dropped it on their way to a BoD meeting, held for the sole purpose of picking up their 50 grand payment for the meeting. 

Acquisition, merger...

You say tomahto and I say tomayto.
Let's call the whole thing off...
