Listen Carefully!!!

Listen Carefully!!!The Move by Home Depot to market Rayovac's Renewal (RAM) batteries is a Huge change in direction for the North American Battery market. No one has been looking for a break through in the retail space. The focus has been all OEM and Europe with hopes that maybe retail would come along some day. Home Depot has done test marketing for a year and has obviously concluded that RAM batteries and chargers would sell.....be sure they are not out to educate the consumer...they already know that they will buy...They are not loading up their shelves without knowing that the batteries will move...period. If Home Depot knows it then the other major retailers cannot be far behind. Duracell and Eveready will also be getting the message. Sometimes you work hard and nothing hapens and some times you get lucky....I think we just got lucky. The potential market is so huge that anyone in the space will be racing to meet the need. That kind of environement will allow for premium pricing. This will be a nice time to have a connection with Toshiba.
