RE:RE:Let's face reality

RE:RE:Let's face realityContinued from the previous post:

Barry ore will be transported via a diesel Haul truck, if it's ever transported to the Bachelor Lake mill. Haul trucks will need to transport ore on a 24/7 basis and electric haul trucks (that don't exist)can't run 24/7. This is especially true if the mill ever reached 2400 TPD. Since there isn't an electrical power line within 110 kilometers of Barry I think we can rule out battery power.

So BTR management is in quite a pickle. Just as they are finally looking to turn towards mining, inflation kicks in. The price of fuel has jumped 100% in the past year. Electricity is up 15%, I'm sure it's going to cost more to hire a mining crew then what they were paying when they shut down the Bachelor Lake mill 3 years ago. Since they couldn't make a profit with much lower costs 3 years ago what make you think they can do it now. A silver lining is the price of gold at the end of June 2019 was $1410/ounce. But inflation is eating into that buffer and fuel costs are only going higher.

Sorry I just don't see this as a very profitable operation. Certainly not enough to be self sustaining. At least until Gladiator can come on line. Which as I said is 3 years or so off. If the price of gold cooperates then profitability looks better. The issue is there are plenty of miners that are in a better situations and produce at lower costs. Which will mean they are more profitable.
