RE: RE: I just had to laugh
Sorry for the cryptic reference to the Coffin Bros. I assumed they were fairly well known to anyone who follows junior resource plays...well most folks here did seem to recognize the names.
David & Eric Coffin publish the Hard Rock Analyst, a newsletter specializing in junior stocks. One bro is a geo; the other has a financial background.
And while no when gets it right all the time, they do have one of the better reputations in the biz. Indeed, Bob Bishop chose HRA when he wound up his pioneering newsletter, GMSR in 2007.
David Pescod who puts out the 'free' Late Edition frequently features the bros as they have two of 2009 better picks, Evolving Gold and East Asia Minerals. His letter is highly recommended BTW...for Deb's ditties alone...and particularly given its price.
Protonman made a more complete and very good analysis in recaping the Coffins' views. In another good post, Milapepa corrects notes the nature of Mineral Creek's 'production.'
Finally HRA did note that they were dropping coverage "for now." They also did not say "sell" if one was long, but it's pretty clear they do not see significant upside in the short term or they feel one's investment funds could be better deployed today.
Time will tell if they've got that right.
As for the post's "I just had to laugh" title, that was not any dig per se at BTT; rather another cryptic quote by the former lyricist John Lennon who penned such in A Day in a Life back in 1967. He was with a rather obscure and long forgotten group.
