CALGARY,ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 14, 2008) - Bridge Resources Corp. (TSXVENTURE:BUK) on behalf of Bridge North Sea (Central) Limited; BFWDrilling Limited; and Lariat Energy Limited announces that the NorthPiper 15/11b-6 exploratory well drilled into the Piper Sands at 7022feet this morning U.K. time. The sands were encountered 60 feet high toprognosis but were found to be water-bearing and the well will now beplugged and abandoned.
The drilling has been managed bySenergy Limited utilizing the Stena Spey semi-submersible rig. Totaldepth was reached five days ahead of schedule.
