But why would they lie about it? Even if they had an impending deal (a JV, or a takeover) they would just say...."We didn't release because of an impending deal"
They wouldn't have to go into detail, and there's no reason they could not say that./....companies do it all the time....I own another gold company that just announced they were in early stages of takeover talk, but it could take months.....I 'm open to opinions, but I jst don't see any logical motive for saying what they did if it was not true
