Does anyone know the typical time frame between commencement of drilling and the time results come forth?

Experience with Bravo in recent years shows something between 2-3 months for first results. Typically commencement Woewodski in June -> results August / September. Homestake in July -> Results October und years end.

For those that are not aware, the 2009 drilling program is targeting the continuation of the high grade veins where the property opens up....into uncharterted territory.  When I spoke to the company in Dec 08, they said they had studied the maps and the 2008 drilling program and know pretty much where to drill to find the coninuation of it.  If these high grade veins continue and are

Thanks for the info. I am quite new to gold company investing but all the DD i did on BVG appears to be very very strong. I am currently in EAS & EVG as well and feel that BVG could be potentially more significant.As mentioned, i am somewhat new to gold and the process, is there a site where a guy can read up on the process of drilling, what is concidered a good strike as opposed to a great

Hi. Each deposit can be economic or uneconomic with varying grades because of so many other factors. Basically, most large pit operations run at only a couple of grams per tonne but because the deposits are so large, they are economic to mine. The trick is to either find a high grade deposit or a large deposit with lower grades. So far, BVG has about 12 million tonnes at 2.36 g/tonne (plus copper

IR sez we'll be getting an NR on Woewodski this week.  The Woewodski program was pretty basic so that would explain the short timing.   On Homestake we should expect, as you say, 2-3 months but management might try to screw with the timing because BVG is such an easy buy after EVG, WTM, etc. have proven the intense interest in gold specs.

Who knows?  Could be anything.  There may be no NR; as anybody who's been following BVG can tell you their IR is Disinformation Central; they've lied so many times over the past year or more about what they intend to do you have to take anything they say with a grain of salt.   If they lie about drilling results though they can get jail time and their Homestake results
