Results near the 70m by 20g hole?

Does anybody have any insight as to which 2009 holes were near the 70m by 20g hole that was drilled in 2008? Have these holes been announced or are they amongst the five that are still outstanding?

Swaskid wrote before: "The key hole will be the one drilled into the anomaly parallel to the main gold zone."  Can anyone confirm this or give any more information on this observation?

I've recently bought back into this stock because I do not think the market has fairly valued the discovery of the new zone at Homestake Silver.  However, I'm less clear on what effect the 2009 result has had on the main gold zone.

PokerSubstitute,Below is a copy from their November 5, 2009 news release. I would suggest you call BVG and ask them if they drilled the hole and if yes then what is a ball park time frame for a release of the assay results.Cheers, Swaskid------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The ...more

I called them awhile ago and was told that hole encountered drilling problems and was not completed.

If you check out there Oct 27th news release you will see that they drilled an offset hole 35 metres to the SE of hole 87 and came up with 11.9m grading 13g/t gold and 19.5g/t silver. Interestingly enough, they also referred to drill hole HR08-87 at that time (and the first time since initially reporting it in Oct/08 and by the way, as they reported it, as one of the best holes drilled in Canada ...more

Sorry swaskid , I should have said that the single hole you referred to targetting the seperate and previously untested anomaly on the eastern slopes of the Kitsault valley, 1,000 meters to the east of the Main Homestake zone, was not finished due to poor drilling conditions.I was told by Jeff Stuart it will be drilled tduring the 2010 drill program.

Are we sure about the hole in Kitsault Valley?  One of six holes in on other targets in the claim group was reported lost in the Oct27 release and afterwards in the Nov5 release they mentioned that the Kitsault Valley hole was yet to be drilled.  No additional holes on other targets in the claim group were reported lost in subsequent NRs.Haven't talked to the ...more

They told me they didn't even get a chance to drill it.  Melting snow and ice delays at Homestake Silver Deposit slowed them down, so no chance to get at the new anomalous areas.
