Bravo Gold

I posted sometime back in feb, But no ones seems to notice/reply this board that often.

I do think reverse split will drive the share price down. But Bravo is already at depressed stage and how far can this move down? even though it does it will spring back after the new resource calculation.

I personally think 10:1 will be too deep of a consolidation, the annual meeting says to the max of 10:1 but i think it will be somewhere in the range of 5:1... i hope it stays this way, there is no point in pushing up the share price to 50 cents, Bravo is not there yet.

On the other side Consolidated Holdings have 34 to 35 million outstanding shares and they did a PP december 2011 at 0.07. I dont think they will be happy with a 10:1 as that drives down the share price way down. i seen companies losing 30% to 75% of their market cap after revese split. With all this in my mind, i think they might only do 5:1.

Any Thoughts??

Investport   I fully agree the reverse split will drive the price down....I'm not really sure if it matters if its 10:1 or 5:1 - it will most certainly fall...in fact I have yet to see a recverse split to EVER result in share appreciation.  What usually happens is there is a split - then management awards themselves additional shares to bring them  back to the pre-reverse split ...more

Reverse splits are a complete rip off for shareholders who have been faithfully accumulating shares in the company.

Doing an RS solely for the purpose of improving the share price rarely (if ever) works - it just leads to more selling. If the RS is done in conjunction with a significant financing, then it could be a different story.  At the end of the day, they need more money to drill keep adding ounces.  If it does sell off further, then anyone has the opportunity to get back to their pre-split ...more

Rusty True...  Guess we have to wait and see what they are going to say tomorrow! I expected the new updated resource calculation first... But.. At this point i feel bad for accumulating this share over a long period. im down more than 50%. with 191,000 Gold Ounces and some silver how much market cap can we peg into this? any guess??? Also if 10:1 consolidation takes places, now we got share ...more
