Re: ARU, I was there with a reasonable size holding. At the time we thought we got snookered by management. I eventually tendered my shares for K shares but held out to the last minute. I sold my K shares over the next few months around $25 before they started there long slide down. In hindsight is was the best thing I ever did because things are still pretty fracked up in Ecuador.

ATC management have a big incentive to see this thing through to a reasonable conclusion. IMO they won't be too quick to cut a deal as they own just the right amount of shares. Not enough shares where a $5 takeover offer is going to tickle their fancies but enough shares where a $10 - $20 offer may get them interested. They know what they have and I don't think they'll sell out early like the Underworld guys did.

Hmmmm..............K grabbed both ARU and Underworld. Nah, I don't think K will be making anymore acquisitions for the next few years given the writedown they just took today.

Here's hoping we'll get back above $5 on springtime speculation in the next couple of months.
