If ATC had never been above 50 cents (or had no hope of ever doing it again) I would absolutely agree with you about being only one logical choice. From my side of the aisle, I believe the best choice is to send a message that we are (as we all know) worth much, much more than a few miserable pennies thrown at us. What, am I a lowly waiter in a cheap restaurant and you want to leave a few nickels on the table as my tip Hecla?!
