Ground Floor Opportunity!And I mean ground floor as both of them are in the tank like the rest of the junior plays. The difference with these 2 is that unlike the rest they have cash and are starting a 50,000m combined drill program. So you have Benchmark trading at around .27 a share! They were at $1.50 a couple of years ago. They recently announct a 3 million ounce resource with a PEA showing a nice return with potential to be robust with an underground component so they begin drilling under the proposed pit. It would be even more robost if they can add Thesis ounces?
Thesis Gold trading at .64. It hit 3 bucks a year ago!
Now here is the kicker Thesis is adjacent to Benchmark who has a takeover offer in place for them. Thesis completed 40,000 m of drilling with some very nice hits and is in the process of doing their first Resource. They could have a very nice combined 4-5 million ounces with 50,000m of drilling slated for this year with 3 drills running.
How to play it who knows. Do you buy Benchmark, Thesis or do you wait for the deal to close? Personally, I have been buying Benchmark but was tempted to wait to make sure the deal closes.....
