The US through its vassal states ( ie NATO ) has ringed Russia with nearly 50 military bases and over 200 biowar labs.
Another 14,000 Russians in Donbas have been killed by the Naziis, led by syphilitic coke head, since 2014.

This is why Russia considers this war an existential one.....a line in the sand .
Unlike the other 29 nations that NATO has invaded, none of which it left victorious ..
