your arguments have no depth. Russia is in dire need of money.  Ask for payment in rubles and no one will pay. Contracts call for USD so its that or nothing. Cut them off of supplies? Please like slittting your own throat.  Your hurting yourself more than your hurting them?. Ruskies need money now, EU don't need the NG for heat until next winter. 

This has become a war of attrition and for Russia it is all but over. Russia has lots of conscripts for fodder but how long will that last. Soon they won't have any proper equipment. The stockpiles of the Soviet era are deep but so much of that is mothballed and ineffective that even that will run out. Russsia demise is a  thing of it's own making. Corruption through and through.  Now you are finding out the cost of that corruption. Everyone tells their boss what they want  to hear evenwhile they are stealing as much as they can for themlseves.  The Russian leadership  is only finding out now how the corrupt model is working for them.

Putin will soon be replaced from within. He's the preverbial frog in the pot and the water is simmering now. Again just a matter of time. Russia's  fodder, artillary and limited supply of hypersonic missles will run out sooner than later. When Putin fails to deliver, he will be replaced.
