Some points of discussion

Russia keeps reducing the amount of gas being delivered to the EU which, if continued, wil increse the risk of the collapse of the EU economy which is already tottering due to the insane " Green " energy program which has terminated nuclear and coal based power generation .

Lets go back to 2016 when the RK field was producing 250-300 boe per day.
That was possible due to blending high nitrogen RK gas with pipeline gas .

This was done by extracting  volumes of gas from the pipeline,  blending it with its RK gas and infuses the resulting blended gas back in the pipeline.

However, A new bill passed on November 27, 2015, amended the Ukraine Code on Gas Pipeline Systems, which among other things, required all producers utilizing the pipeline to pay a tariff for access to the pipeline.

Such a  tariff was costly because the  extraction of  volumes of gas from the pipeline and infusing it back into the pipeline would be tarriffed such that gas blending would not be profitable .

Given the desperate need for every boe of gas, perhaps these tariffs may be reduced or even eliminated.
This would transform the economic being of the RK field.

My second point relates to the Stanievsje gas field.

Historically , in 2013, a 45 km2 3D seismic survey was initiated and completed  in 2014, and  the data was interpreted.

As many as 15 prospects, with depth ranging from 500 to 2,500 metres, were  identified.
The geological and geophysical study of the existing wells together with the wells previously drilled led the technical team to believe that the license could hold commercial hydrocarbon deposits.

In addition , Stabiskve gas has much less nitrogen .
Further, the Muchaevho-1 well drilled to 4000 m by the Soviets was tested at 15,000 MMcf.
It is in the same high temperature reservoir as the RK1 well , also drilled by the Soviets and tested very large volumes.

In 2016, the licence was converted from a exploration licence to a production licence.

At that time number of locations were identified to be drilled when Cubs  financial status improved.
That did not happen and when the one well requirement to drill by 2021 could not be carried out, the
Govt put restrictions  on Cubs licence.
Currentky, the Stanisvke field is given no value by Cub.

As of the last quarterly, it was stated that management were still engaged in removing the restriction .
Whether this is meaningful or not, I don't know.
