RE: New Content?

RE: New Content? The first panel on the left side says construction started in November 2010 will take 24 months.

Mining is starting ahead of construction of the plant to start the mine development work.  That can include things like building shafts, ramps, levels, ore chutes, lunch rooms, ventilation shafts, etc.

One of the most important things to note about the mining that they will be using continuous mining equipment in soft rock that is used in potash, salt, or coal mining.  This is a huge advantage over hard rock mining that requires blasting.  With continuous mining the machine simply eats away at the material and it it carried away on conveyor belt.

This is a significantly less expensive mining as compared to hard rock mining.
