I felt on this news this morning:

Mount Kellett also renewed a proposal to Baja that it consider Mount Kellett as a possible source of funding - and thus a bigger stakeholder in Baja - now that there was a $246 million funding shortfall. In his letter to the board of Baja directors, Fiorello wrote, "Although our offer of support has to date been rebuffed, we renew it again in this letter."

The response from Baja was non-committal and suggested it was avoiding a share issue. "Baja is looking at all options for financing right now with an emphasis on finding the most non-dilutive option that will benefit all shareholders," a Baja spokesperson said
