RE:RE:LDCMS still buying 70% of Baja production?Hopeful- thanks for the response. In saying $1.8B, I'm talking about the construction cost. That's what it cost to build so far. Whether or not that's the NPV remains to be seen, but it's the most recent figure we can attribute to anything. The $1.3B NPV was based on 2.90$/lb of copper- the sustained cost in the last few years has been about $3.20. It was based on 26$/lb cobalt, right now it's about half that. And it was based on $1175/tonne zinc, right now we're about $2,100. And there was no allowance for manganese, so if they do end up producing it, it will be a credit. Since the bulk of the $ is gonna come from copper, and it's quite a bit higher, I'm guessing the NPV will be in the $1.5-$2B range. But, that's just speculation. Either way I think we can all agree, that BAJ 10% is gonna be worth way more than current market cap.
