Further to my point a few days back

Further to my point a few days backI was reading an article in Engineering & Mining Journal's latest issue, about the difficulty of developping gold projects nowadays. I knwo we're talking copper here, but the statment below is equally relevant:

"...63 projects now in the pipeline and scheduled to begin production between 2014 and 2019 are expected to take a weighted-average of 19.5 years from the date of discovery to first production."

So, AVERAGE major mine these days is about 20 year development project. It just supports what I was saying before- patience is required in these investments. BAJ has been trying to develop this project for decades, and now we're months away and everyone is worried that they're a few months behind. Everyone else out there is taking 20 years to develop their mines- you think any of them are having delays similar to BAJ? Yes they are. 2 months in a 20 year project is nothing. They are not going to rush things at this point and risk throwing away decades of hard work just to satisfy impatient investors. Let's work with them on their time-frame ok.
