He took his Sept 2008 salary which was due Sept 30 before the 15 of Sept.. the company was running out of money and he and John Carter drained the coffers. Cooper also kept a laptop or kept corporate information that was not his to keep. I am not sure if that was ever returned. Cooper was also expensing trips to northern Ontario for a gold property he was looking at outside Industrial Minerals and of course all the expenses were put through Industrial. It seems Cooper's CV on the SJL website is missing these facts. So the short and long of it is that Cooper is a first class jerk and possibly skirted US security laws.
