RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:MRC Argenteuil nominates Mayor Tom Arnold of GSLR And I think you can recheck those 3/4 things because you are mistaken.
How much revenue does GSLR generate vs Prov/Fed funding? There are no ways around it, GSLR generates the least amount of revenue per resident. You can scream out that most residents are seniors and no longer work but it doesnt matter.  The province needs to bail GSLR every year.
There is always unemployment in every town. It may be low which can consist of a few hundred in GSLR but its still unemployment.  So you saying that there are more jobs than people is wrong.  You are also neglecting that people may not like the job they currently have and would prefer to work in another industry. You should be aware of that.
When you say CCB has offered nothing to GSLR in terms of revenue, you have a mindset of a little wealthy brat where handouts rob people like you out of motivation.  When its time to step up and contribute, look what you have to say. Moreover, dont lie and about mines paying very little or no tax in Qc.  Read below from Mern.

The operator is required to pay mining duties corresponding to the higher of the following two amounts: A minimum mining tax based on the mine-mouth output value, at the following rates:1 % on the first $80 million 4 % on the remainder Mining tax on its annual profit, at a progressive rate ranging from 16% to 28%, depending on its profit margin.
So the province and the town can reap millions of dollars for every $100 mil mined.
Lastly, enough with the Maple sugar bushes.  There are hundreds of millions of them in quebec and Miller's isnt so special because its ground is not fertile.  I dont think you can grow anything else there but trees. Alex, your arguments have been weak now for years and that mine will open.
