RE: email address

RE: email addressbcventures: Now as for your first question on a contact with Cantex management, I would suggest that you try these telephone/fax numbers: (250) 860-8582 or 1-800-997-8582, fax (250) 860-1362.Your inquiry will eventually be answered. Perhaps the best way though is to email Cantex President Peter Gregory at info@cantex.ca. Dr. Gregory has now replaced Joe Dutton as President of Cantex, Joe has gone on to pursue other interests in the triathlon equipment field. He told me that his business is going to be based out San Diego Calif.and Calgary. Now since Dr. Gregory has not made the move to Kelowna at this time you might ask him if there is a preferable email address, which may provide a quicker response. Peter’s reason for not having moved to Kelowna can be summed up in one date – September 11. He wants to direct as much funding to field as possible. As he says: ” It's not ideal but in difficult times it is better to spend funds at the coal face rather than on administration.” With what he is able to respond to,Peter’s answers to my questions have been timely and to the point. He has been fair in not providing market sensitive information while still providing a good general outline of where we are at and where we are going. I am sure you will find the same. In regards to your second question as to whom is in the field. It is my understanding that neither Peter nor Chuck has been to Yemen since Sept.11. Many companies have placed a ban on international travel for their people until world affairs stabilize somewhat, so this shouldn’t surprise anyone. I also speculate that Chuck was planning to attend the 8th Annual Arab Mineral Conference in Sanaa a few weeks back but cancelled though I can’t confirm this. But Cantex has been busy in Yemen this fall. Canadian Mountain Minerals Yemen , crews under the direction of Chief CMMY geologist Al Shabani have been active at Sadah as well as in other areas of Yemen continuing the exploration program. Samples have been collected and despite delays caused by the events of Sept. 11, they have now been shipped to Canada for analysis. Maybe some saw the new crescent moon in the sky this evening – signaling the start of Ramadan . It is normal for field work to stop during Ramadan. This year is no exception. People who don't eat or drink all day find it tough in the field. But Peter has stated that there is enough to do with outstanding analyses and preparing for the next fieldwork. This fieldwork I would speculate would be to further define Sadah using geophysics, pretest indicated hot spots using small portable drilling machines and if positive follow-up with diamond drilling.
