A message from China re: REEsChina this morning: "Countries should exploit and develop Rare Earth Metals". I find this significant. China has so far stated it is restricting its export just a percentage (low) of such rare metals. I take it today's warning reveals that China intends to restrict a much higher exports percentage, perhaps 100% as it hopes to temper the world's outrage at essentially Chna's threat to global manufacturering requiring these rare metals. Of course, China is gearing up for greater auto and airline manufacturing where most of these metals get absorbed. Hence the excitement especially for North American explorecos.
