Big Copper Discovery on CDO's Doorstep

Big Copper Discovery on CDO's Doorstep

Don’t know why more people aren’t getting excited. Look at where V.GWQ (GWR Resources) is heading. They are rocketing because of their Spout Lake discovery. Huge copper values of up to 8% Cu – that is 8%!`This discovery is right on the southern border of CDO’s Murphy Lake property. V.GWQ too has its distracters and nay-sayers on Stockhouse. In fact there is almost nobody positive there. They have their management and financial issues as well. There are few juniors that don’t face these challenges. But one good property is all that it takes. That is what V.GWQ has discovered, and folks, they are drilling practically right on CDO’s doorstep.

And Murphy Lake is only one of CDOs’ properties. Look at V.GWQ’s chart. There share structure is the same as CDO. That is what CDO’s chart will look like soon.

From V.GWQ’s news summary”:

Two drill rigs continue to cut impressive magnetite-Cu-Au-Ag within Spout Lake Skarn Zones. See New Assays (Feb 10 News). High magnetite significantly boosts Cu ore value. Grades to 8.1% Cu (with 1.4gpt Au, 27.2gpt Ag, 35.7% Fe) and 57% Fe (with .54% Cu, 0.12gpt Au, 2.7gpt Ag) over 2 m intervals. True widths to 66 m (South) and 30 m North Zones.

Drill budget again extended to 12,000m, 2,700 remain.

From the Feb 10, 2011 News Release:

Drilling has now covered 250 m of the 400 m strike length of the North Zone, along 11 sections. Approximate true widths vary from 3 to 30 metres. While emphasis remains on near-surface delineation, a few deeper holes were budgeted to confirm historical intersections at depth, in a few key locations. One of these holes, DDH SL11-72 (assays pending) was drilled at -75 degree angle and has successfully cut the near-vertical-dipping North Zone at a depth of 350 m below surface, extending the zone at least 50 m deeper than any previous hole. Visually impressive, massive magnetite and chalcopyrite were intersected over approximately 8 meters near the end of the hole (385.5 m), which was unfortunately terminated prematurely due to stuck drill rods. The mineralization continues down-dip, but interpretation suggests the zone may also continue down-hole as a parallel lens. To test this, the hole will be continued using BQ drill rods through the NQ rods. The results indicate considerable additional tonnage exists below the original 1993 resource, estimated to only 200 m depth. DDH SL11-77 (assays pending) intersected remarkable mineralization at 25m down-hole, as strongly potassically altered, massive magnetite, native copper, chalcopyrite, bornite and chalcocite. The combination of these copper-rich minerals within the same section of core represents metal zonation along the trend, with possibly important geological implications.
