GWR Resources Inc. has expanded its mineral property interests by entering into an option agreement with Candorado Operating Company Ltd., to complete an aggressive exploration program on the Man-Prime alkalic porphyry copper-gold property, located 36 kilometres north of Princeton, B.C., Canada. The large (155 square kilometres) property hosts several copper sulphide (chalcopyrite, bornite) zones within potassically altered, alkaline/calcalkaline, island arc volcanics and co-magmatic intrusive rocks of the Triassic Nicola Group, within the southern Quesnel Trough terrane. These rocks host several past and currently producing mines elsewhere, including the nearby Copper Mountain deposit (mineral reserve 195 million tonnes grading 0.33% Cu) where mine development is currently underway. The Man/Prime property has excellent access provided by a network of logging and exploration roads.
