CDO commences 2009 drilling programm

Candorado Commences 2009 Drilling Program on Deer Lake Property, Amends Property Agreement, Announces Private Placements


CandoradoOperating Company Ltd. anticipates its 2009 drill program on its DeerLake property, located in south-central British Columbia, to commenceshortly. The Deer Lake property is a vital part of the company’ Quesnel trough property package.

Murphy Lake property agreement amendment

The company, Ron McMillan and Ross Blusson have agreed to amend theterms of the mineral property option agreement dated Feb. 11, 2004,wherein Candorado was granted an option to acquire a 100-per-centinterest in two contiguous mineral claims comprising of 24 mineralclaim units, located in the Cariboo mining division,collectively referred to as the Murphy Lake (Muir) property, forconsideration of one million shares of Candorado subject to TSX VentureExchange approval, saving the company from total costs of $625,000. Theamended agreement still retains the 2-per-cent net smelter returnroyalty payable to Mr. McMillan and Mr. Blusson.

Non-flow-through private placement

The company has arranged a non-brokered private placement for up toone million units at a price of four cents per unit for total proceedsof up to $40,000. Each unit will consist of one common share plus onewarrant entitling the investor to purchase one common share for aperiod of 24 months at a price of 10 cents per share.

The proceeds of this private placement will be used to finance thecompany’s continuing exploration commitments on its British Columbiaproperties and working capital.

Flow-through private placement

The company has arranged a non-brokered private placement of fourmillion flow-through units at a price of five cents per flow-throughunit for total proceeds of $200,000. Each flow-through unit willconsist of one flow-through common share plus one share purchasewarrant entitling the investor to purchase one non-flow-through commonshare for a period of 24 months at a price of 10 cents per share.

The proceeds of this private placement will be used to finance thecompany’s continuing exploration commitments on its B.C. properties.

That news was almost two months ago, so hopefully they have commenced drilling already and will come up with some interesting holes.  This $0.03 share price is starting to suck already.

As long as the commodity market does not recover no commodity stock will recover - even with results, good one or brillant ones. This market does not want commodity stocks ! Thus 0.03 to .0.05 will still be seen here for many months.

....but - forgot to add - it is also an enormous chance to buy cheap. Whatever anybody might say about microcaps like CDO, this company has tons of chances !!!! It is - as always at the stockmarket - just a question of patience.The management here does the best possible while this difficult market. I worry some shareholder will not undersatnd at all how difficult it is to survive .....maybe check ...more

Unfortunately I have thrown too much good money after bad on this one and would take too much of a loss to sell now so will just have to stick it out for the long run now or until share price gains another $0.15 - $0.20.  I know times are tough but would like to at least see some sort of drilling taking place to have some hope.  If you look at the companies home page on their website it ...more

Maybe you ask the market where the aggressively investments have gone too investors did two yearts before.I do not believe Bernard is a wizard who receives money that easy nowadays!  Maybe you don't know how much drilling etc. cost.However, I know that Bernard is really fighting for every deal. And I have been told that it takes days and days and weeks and weeks until potential partners ...more

Maybe you are correct on a few things.  This company needs to acquire a lithium property to kick start it.

islandjon, this commodity stroy will receover. No doubt. But it needs the same time to get back on track as the whole commodity market has to receover. Do not forget......the market is still totally down. Remmber uranium? Market has been thrilled two years ago. Did you check those micros as well? you might go nut if you would have bought some 100k shares of some uranium micros...and have to watch ...more
