CELL Unveils Promising Lithium Soil Results @ Texas Springs

CELL Unveils Promising Lithium Soil Results @ Texas Springs

Grid Battery Metals Inc. (Ticker: CELL.v or EVKRF for US investors) recently unveiled promising findings from soil samples collected during the initial phase of its fall exploration initiative at the Texas Springs Property near Elko, Nevada.

Situated strategically next to the southern boundary of Surge Battery Metals Inc.'s (Ticker NILI.v or NILIF for US investors) Nevada North Lithium Project, CELL's Texas Springs Lithium Property has demonstrated significant potential.

NILI's previous drilling efforts at Nevada North revealed lithium-bearing clays with an average lithium content of 3254 ppm in near-surface clay zones during the 2022 drilling campaign. NILI also reported positive results from Nevada North this year, with lithium levels reaching up to 8070 ppm during the latest drilling program. Notably, NILI closed up 18% today on high volume.

CELL's soil sample results indicate noteworthy findings, with an average lithium grade of 2010 ppm at the Texas Springs Lithium Property. High-grade zones were identified in both the northern and southern regions, particularly highlighting a high-grade lithium zone in the northern project area, aligning with Surge's previously identified high-grade soil samples to the north.

The comprehensive soil sampling effort unveiled six samples exceeding 3000 ppm lithium, and a total of 810 samples were collected, ranging from 10 ppm to 5610 ppm. This suggests the possibility of mineralization extending from the Nevada North Lithium Project to Texas Springs.

Having completed the first phase of the exploration program, CELL now plans to interpret the geological data and strategize for its next steps at Texas Springs in preparation for the upcoming 2024 exploration season.
