CELL Unveils Strategic Year-End Update

CELL Unveils Strategic Year-End Update

Grid Battery Metals Inc. (Ticker: CELL.v or EVKRF for US investors) just dropped its year-end shareholder update, and it's a mix of milestones and strategic moves.

Key Highlights:

Strategic Expansions: Grid's 2023 journey involved snagging some prime Nevada lithium assets—the Texas Springs Property and the Volt Canyon Property. To sweeten the deal, three equity financings pumped up Grid's cash position to CAD$5 million.

Spinning the Nickel: Grid's making moves in Canada, spinning off its Canadian Nickel assets into AC/DC Battery Metals Inc., set to hit the TSX Venture Exchange in 2024. The bonus for existing Grid shareholders? A common share dividend in AC/DC shares. The move aligns with global giants predicting a 200%-300% surge in nickel demand over the next 30 years.

EV Surge: With over 41 million electric vehicles buzzing around globally, Grid acknowledges the EV revolution. Governments worldwide are hopping on the zero-emission bandwagon, offering incentives left and right. Notably, Tesla plans to churn out over 2 million vehicles a year from its new Mexican facility.

Digging into Nevada Lithium:

Texas Springs Property: The Phase 1 exploration turned up impressive Lithium Grades—averaging 2010 ppm, with 5,610 ppm Lithium at its peak. With the data in hand, the team's gearing up for the 2024 exploration season.

Familiar Territory: The Texas Springs Property rubs shoulders with Surge Battery Metals Inc.'s Nevada North Lithium Project. Fun fact: Grid's management and geological team were originally at Surge and discovered the Nevada North Lithium property.

Clayton Valley Lithium Project: 2024 plans include updating the NI #43-101 Technical Report and a multi-phased exploration program. Think geologic infrastructure, auger sampling, and drilling—the works.

As the curtain falls on 2023, Grid Battery Metals sets its sights on pushing its projects forward and contributing to the green shift to EVs.
