RE: Contact accident suspends operations at StoneThe bad thing is the rig would not have buckled empty, it had to be under load and everything would be down hole when it buckled.
Not a good situation as lots of blame, expense and investigations to take care of now.
Good things no one was killed, the bad things is its a bad thing.
The biggest thing is will they loose the hole? Who Pays for this mess? Clean up? Who drills the next one? Progress is stopped for now.
