Down Hole HeatingFor sure there is oil on the Stoney Creek lease as it has flowed there for 100 years. Whatever happens some monies will be recovered, will it prove profitable?
What I am hearing is Contact will look at the 3D for other sweet spots for conventional drilling at shallow depths, also what may be deeper as no one has been deep on this property ever. All this rather conventional.
The next thing they seem to be working on is heat for the down hole workings. The oil there contains a lot of parrifin and a higher temp is required to flow it. They I am told are working on a system to use some of the gas on site to generate heat for the down hole workings to flow oil. Heat is required for all the pipes underground, to the surface and even in tanks on the surface. Sounds interesting, will it work?
