Turns out the news from QEC about the shutin of 50% of the Kakwa production was a bit premature. But we are supposed to hear something early next week I am told. Not quite sure what to expect though. There could be no production cutback, or we could indeed be facing that 50% cut. Only the company knows for sure. The rest of us have to wait.

Qec updated today. No cutbacks at all will be implemented and tha 08-20 well is finished drilling. Only 32 days :) The next well 02-18 will be spudded shortly.

That is better news. But what is with QEC releasing incorrect information, and not correcting it right away? From what I understand, production was never cut back.

whats current production and how many wells do they currently have and how many wells will they have when this program is done?
