ENAMI comments at 12/31/15
ENAMI comments at 12/31/15from the 4th Q MD&A for the period ending 12/31/15
Exploration Outlook
For the next 3 years, Cornerstone plans an aggressive prospecting program within the ENAMI-CESA Strategic Alliance (Project Generation) and on other high priority target areas within Ecuador, assuming the definitive agreement can be signed (see also pages __ below re the ENAMI letter of intent). If the definitive agreement with ENAMI cannot be finalized to Cornerstone’s satisfaction, the Company will proceed on our own with applications for high priority copper porphyry and epithermal gold concessions. By way of background, at the time the Company signed the letter of intent with ENAMI in 2015, the only way to gain access to new prospective ground in Ecuador was through ENAMI exercising its preferential right under the law. This situation has recently changed, as a result of the Government opening up vast areas of the country for concession applications. Our plan is to begin prospecting and regional reconnaissance work in May 2016, whether under an ENAMI strategic alliance or alone. Minimal environmental, H&S and social work will be carried out early into the program.
