The budget set aside millions of dollars JUST TO STUDY how to convert the govt fleet to renewables. That gives Cielo time to get some plants built for a big contract with the military for diesel. Cielo's process unlike biofuels from crops, produces a product with near zero water content, low ghp, higher cetane and it won't freeze until below something like -230 degrees C.
If you've ever operated diesel equipment in Canada's north you know how important that is. Commercial vehicles often stop when the diesel in them gels in the cold and stops flowing. Canada's military is going to want CMC's diesel for Arctic use. So will many other militarys once word gets out.
