RE: RE: Mercedes news! Yes, Mercedes is looking very encouraging although still in a very early stage of exploration. Sounds like crews continue to uncover more and more areas of high grade gold, copper, and silver mineralization.
The key catalyst here remains receiving final water/drill permits from the Colombian gov't to drill the El Dovio high grade polymetallic project which we could see anyday now. If we are lucky, drills could be turning later next month after they prepare drill sites and construct water structures.
From the CEO's recent interviews, it sounds like Teck could be drilling at a similar time as El Dovio, so lots of good things coming here over the next several months. Teck has been doing work at Yarumalito for some time now and should have all the high priority drill targets picked. I have a feeling these will be very good.
Seems like a long wait, but things are finally all coming together for this little company. With the tight share structure and low float this thing could soar updward on good drill results.
