Just reading Vale is expanding their Thompson Manitoba nickel mine to last another 10 years and increase production at that mine by 30%. Might have been a factor in the Tesla deal.  As much as it's high grade, it's 4000 metres down so it's expensive production.

Thanks MOshowme. That's a great interview with Friedland. Such a visionary. Solid state batteries need lots of nickel too.
