Really have to wrap your mind around the implications of this deal. 390 odd football fields in size.... largest manufacturing factory in Canada.... $7 billion to build.... 5 year pay back on $13 billion invested. VW wants to be there for next 100 years.... who might have 100 years worth of nickel ?  JT really says it well: "reliable supply chains that we can count on". Also how ...more

For three years you have been bombarding the CNC discussion board on approximately how many of the billion dollar deals from government and the private sector?  70-80 is my estimate. Yet when they need money they need to resort to loan shark deals and heavy dilution to get money to address their burn rate.  When I started here this was a 60 million share company.  We've doubled ...more

We'll see how those supply chains function when china takes over Taiwan and there are suddenly zero chips available for electric vehicles for the west.

Batteries are easy to make. Call me when the corporate welfare liberals set up a chip company in Canada. Until then I am not betting on an ev revolution with China soon to take over Taiwan and cut off the west from chips needed for vehicles. Watch how fast Biden and Trudeau bow down to Xi when he controls the world's chip manufacturing.
