Pilot Plant

Pilot plant test was successful and exceeded expectations. Again if you think there's some big conspiracy then email Mark instead of harrassing shareholders with your lame FUD.

Pilot Plant Overview
In October 2022, Canada Nickel completed the first phase of a 34-tonne pilot demonstration of the Crawford Metallurgical Flowsheet at SGS Canada Inc. in Lakefield, Ontario. The pilot plant was initiated to evaluate the performance of the flowsheet with continuous feed as well as to generate concentrate for downstream flowsheet development work and product marketing purposes. The initial phases of testing included the rougher level flotation stages and the magnetic recovery circuit, each of which exceeded expectations in terms of operability and production. The remaining stages of the pilot plant were successfully completed, and the results will be incorporated into the feasibility study.

The results achieved from the magnetic recovery circuit delivered improved iron and chromium recoveries and improved concentrate grades relative to what was modelled in Crawford’s PEA.

I really hope Selby doesn't delay the FS again. I can understand the reasoning for the delay on account of the proof of concept stuff for the carbon storage, but my cuirousity is making me a little impatient! Hopefully it will be worth the wait and we see a fantastic IFS! :)
Comment by apapas1973 on Jul 21, 2023 8:46am
It will be game over if he delays again Wobbly. All credibility will have been lost. And I wouldn't blame anyone for jumping ship. Don't see any excuse acceptable for another delay.  But I don't think it'll be delayed. GLTA

Nice word salad. If it's as good as they say it is, they would have released the full results instead of fluff and "met expectations". Same thing happened with Dumont. They were supposed to release results of round 2 but never did. Selby left for CNC a short time later.
Comment by WobblyChart on Jul 21, 2023 9:08am
I really hope history doesn't repeat itself. Another Dumont debacle would be really bad.

This is like a bad WWE tag team event. Whose up next to cherry pick fear factor FUD mongering? So many non shareholders spending too much time here. Very bullish.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Jul 21, 2023 10:07am
Tagging in here.  Imagine calling the omission of nickel recovery reporting from the largest metallurgical work program the company has ever done "cherry picking."  It's a glaring omission. If the results were confirmatory of the previous bench scale numbers, they would have for sure included it.  Not saying it's necessarily fatal, but combine it with things ...more

They can still release this result and should. People should pressure Mark Selby to release it.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Jul 21, 2023 10:23am
You should short the stock since you feel so negative, but then again you're afraid to email Selby and get answers for your year long FUD worries.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Jul 21, 2023 10:30am
I made a promise to myself that I would never short anything. Even if correct, markets can remain irrational longer than one can remain solvent. Believe me, I'm not at all concerned about the issues I raise. A steady diet of 4chan in my formative years simply gave me a penchant for trolling pompous midwits on the internet. Put simply, I'm here for the lulz.  Good luck :^)

FPX CFO quit today with no replacement ready to go. Not a good sign for them.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Jul 21, 2023 10:14am
CEO is a tenured CPA who previously held that role and the company is funded well into 2025. Next raise here when?
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Jul 21, 2023 10:29am
Glad we have a nickel mining analyst for a CEO whose worked for INCO etc versus a bean counter.  We have a debt advisor with Cutfield but 2/3 costs or more will come from OEM and governments so cash raise will be limited, and not at this price. A majors dream takeover target.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Jul 21, 2023 10:35am
Do keep in mind that said bean counter already had obtained some government funding from Natural Reources Canada and to date is the only nickel project to have done so, you INCO Wizard's abilities notwithstanding.  Perhaps a clearly delineated and technically superior path to Nickel Sulphate (Battery Chemicals) relative to conventional Sulphide and Laterite deposits had something to do ...more

$725K ?? Seriously ?  LOL. Peanuts. Come back when you get multi millions.

Believe me when I day I will.
Comment by NoobTube on Jul 21, 2023 7:31pm
I'm glad that work is done.  Bodes well for other similar deposits too.

I guess when you drill 8 holes a year your cash can last another 10 years. Lost track how many holes CNC drilled past 12 months. 39 just at Texmont. Must be mid 100.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Jul 21, 2023 10:42am
Drilling the entire Canadian Shield is not a viable business strategy and is of dubious value when the market isn't rewarding you for it and you continually need to raise.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Jul 21, 2023 10:59am
Proving up 10 plus Crawfords is bad now ? LOL.  Reeks of desperation with your .12% grade in the middle of nowhere in an enviromentally sensitive area of greenie BC. CP the Queen of Canada needs to take you on his summer RV convoy holiday.
Comment by PCGuy10 on Jul 21, 2023 11:09am
Until the bankable feasibility study is released (after how many delays) and proves Crawford is economically viable them 10x0=0. These repeated delays and omissions are not helping your case.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Jul 21, 2023 11:31am
You haven't emailed Selby either to answer your late night worries ? They are a third of the way through permitting and talks with OEM's have "increased their pace". You can bash grade all you want but the fact that the NPV of FPX's PEA was substantially higher than CNC's despite significantly higher capex makes it a non-issue. Yes, I know you have "expansion potential" (so does FPX with Van et al) but FPX didn't account for any byproduct credits nor did it assume that Santa Claus would pick up a portion of its capex.  The fact that ...more

A friendly letter ? Mines minister Pirie is huge supporter of CNC and used to be CEO of Placer Dome as well as Mayor of Timmins. Multiple photos of Mark with Doug Ford in his office with the First Nation leaders as well as large meetings with big mining players and Pirie plus government officials. I like those optics better than a letter and less than a million.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Jul 21, 2023 3:07pm
Do you think that my point was to demonstrate that government support in ON was less than BC, or that government support in BC was greater than you purported it to be? You are literally incapable of reading comprehension and critical thought. Textbook NPC.
Comment by CanadianPatriot on Jul 21, 2023 4:25pm
Pirie also takes a lot of pictures with Juan the Taco Truck Guy.  Doesn't mean its a good investment.   Lot's of pictures with the Ring of Fire folks too probably more than you.

Hopefully you aren't including me in the FUD camp. I remain cautiously optimistic that my patience will be rewarded. That said, with my piddly 5k shares, I barely rate as anyone serious, to be fair.
Comment by CanadianPatriot on Jul 21, 2023 4:24pm
You are a piece of work Endzone.  The guy that FOMOS  complains of FUD.  I posted recently how you said at 3.60 that you felt sorry for people who were on the sidelines as they would miss out.
